The AUR carries the git build; gpu-screen-recorder-gtk adds the GUI.

If what you want is Shadowplay — a replay buffer running constantly so you can save a clip after the funny thing already happened — this is the closest Linux equivalent, and it is better at that specific job than OBS.

It is not a replacement for OBS. There is no scene compositing, no overlays, no alerts. It records or it buffers. That narrow scope is exactly why its overhead is low enough to leave running during a competitive match.
