nix profile install nixpkgs#wf-recorderA single-purpose recorder for Sway, Hyprland, river and other wlroots compositors. No GUI, no scenes — you give it a codec and an output file.
It pairs with slurp for region selection, which is the usual reason to reach
for it over a full desktop recorder. It does not work on GNOME or KDE, which do
not use wlroots; those use the xdg-desktop-portal screencast path instead.
